Prizes and eligibility
What is awarded
Each competition publishes its own prize table before entry opens: the prize for each placing, its form and its stated value. [Describe your prize types: cash, vouchers, physical goods, platform credit. If prizes are platform credit that cannot be withdrawn, say so explicitly and prominently - it changes what the product is.]
Who can claim
- Aged 18 or over at the time of entry.
- Resident in an eligible territory at the time of entry and at the time of claim.
- Holding a single, verified account in the participant's own name.
- Not disqualified under the competition rules.
Verification
Before a prize is released we re-score the winning entry from its stored record, and we may ask for proof of identity, age and residence. Prizes are not released until verification is complete. Refusal or failure to verify within 1 days forfeits the prize, which then passes to the next eligible placing.
Claim period
Winners are notified within 1 days of a competition closing and must claim within 1 days. Unclaimed prizes pass to the next eligible placing or, where the rules state, are not awarded.
Delivery
Cash prizes are transferred to the participant's registered bank account within ten business days of the competition close. Delivery costs are borne by Skill Arena Hub.
Tax
Winners are responsible for any tax arising on a prize in their own jurisdiction. We do not provide tax advice. Where we are legally required to report or withhold, we will say so at the point of claim.
Substitution
We may substitute a prize of equal or greater value where the stated prize becomes unavailable. Prizes are non-transferable and, unless stated otherwise on the competition page, cannot be exchanged for cash.
