Responsible play
Competing should be entertainment. If it stops feeling like that, the tools below are there for you.
Our position
Skill Arena Hub is not gambling and does not involve wagering. But any paid, competitive activity can be played more than a person intends, and skill-based competition carries its own trap: the belief that the next attempt will go better because you are improving. Sometimes it will. Sometimes it will not, and the money is still spent.
Controls available to you
- Spending limit - set a daily, weekly or monthly cap on entry fees. Reductions apply immediately; increases take effect after 1 hours.
- Entry limit - cap the number of competitions you can enter in a period.
- Session reminder - an on-screen notice after a period you choose.
- Time-out - lock your account for 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days.
- Self-exclusion - close your account for a minimum of 1 months. During self-exclusion you cannot enter competitions and we will not send you marketing.
To use any of these, go to Account Settings or write to [email protected].
Signs worth paying attention to
- Entering more competitions to recover money already spent
- Spending more than you planned, or more than you can comfortably afford
- Hiding how much you spend from people close to you
- Competing interfering with work, study, sleep or relationships
- Feeling you cannot stop even when you want to
Where to get help
[Insert support organisations for each market you operate in, with current names, links and helpline numbers. Verify each one before publishing - a dead helpline number is worse than none. Do not copy a list from another site without checking it.]
Under 18
Skill Arena Hub is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We verify age at registration and again before releasing any prize. If you believe a minor is using the platform, contact [email protected] and we will investigate.
